    Finished up the case mods. FTI case saver, drilled a passage in the case for the valve body on the way, plugged the kickdown solenoid plug hole, drilled and tapped the vent hole for an AN fitting, put a new gear on the governor, ordered some more parts from BTE. Trans should be going back...

    Suburban original roof "rack" and roof tent

    Burb or otherwise, I have all my camping gear loaded on to a 4x8 utility trailer. I can load it at my leisure and hook up when ready to go. Also, I'm 6'5" and massive, and my wife is 6'2". The roof is not rated for us, even with additional bracing.

    Drilled the pump cover to match the stator and case. Got an amazon holder and welded some scrap to one of the engine stands for an extra spot to mount it. Got the case final trim and fit done.

    A TDC whistle is like $15-20. There's no way it should idle anywhere near that high unless it has a massive vacuum leak. Did you make sure you capped/plugged all the unused ports?
