74 c10 5/7 Drop-Will It Rub??
I dropped mine close to your specs. Axle flip kit in the back and 2" drop springs, 2.5" drop spindles in the front. Ridler wheels 20x8.5, 4.75BS front, 20x10, 5.5BS in back. Fullway tires 245/45 and 275/45, no rubbing while driving normal, some minor rubbing at full turn.- Elliot W

No fuel pressure
Dumb fix again. Just needed to post about it to figure it out despite troubleshooting the majority of the morning. I just double checked the two power wires at the stock fuse box that go to the wire harness (for a second time today) and wiggling them around seemed to do the trick. Next task is...- Elliot W

Looks like I'm back to square one on this issue as my truck won't start and I can't hear the fuel pump turn on. All fuses, relays, and wiring are good and making good contact. NV4500 swap behind a 5.3 LS
When I did my nv3500 I had a couple transmissions to try. The older ones with the external slave interfered with the 5.3 at the oil pan. Need ideas for a modern steering wheel.
I used this wheel in my nova. I really like the look of it, but depending on the brand you get, the rivets can be counter sunk (feels weird and has sharp edges) and the metal spokes are quite sharp especially with manual steering. It’s so sharp that it’s a hazard when the wheel corrects quickly... -

Why do you say the c30 body is in better shape than the c20? Because it has some paint on it? Your c20 looks alright from the photo just a little patina. Amazon TIG welders?

Yea I’m not sure why. Maybe the trucks are too rusty up here? There’s usually a handful at any respectable car show though. It could just be the grumpy New England attitude preventing any socialization. -

Fixed! Thank you to everyone that chimed in with help! Turned out to be connectors at the relay, and possibly a burned connector to the fuse block. Are you saying my cheapo Harbor Freight multimeter can't sustain a little current lol. Thanks for explaining the electrical differences with load/no load. That could easily be the problem...voltage at the terminal but none when it tries to start the pump. I swapped the 2 relays on the fuse...- Elliot W

Huge thanks for the write up. When I just checked it this morning, I disconnected the pump and got the 12V. When I tried to get the reading on the wire while it was connected to the pump, I couldn't get a reading. Figured it was just a bad connection. I'll go check that again. Then bench test...- Elliot W

I'm getting 12V to the pump, confirmed this morning. So I'm thinking its either a bad power connection, a bad ground, or a bad ground. If its none of those, then this is the most quiet pump invented (along with its relay) and the lack of ignition is another problem all together.- Elliot W

I tried checking voltage at the pump while the wife keyed the ignition but couldn’t get a good read. That’s why I did a continuity check of the wire from the relay to the pump.
