Thanks for letting me join this wonderful forum…I don’t have any money, but I’m rich. Blessed with 1976 ‘spirit of 76’ c10 and a 1979 k10…between the 2 of them I have the best of both worlds…..
I have found lots of wisdom and expertise on this forum in the past.
I have a perplexing question about the dome light bulb in my 76…manual refers to 1003-15 cp as replacement…when I search for 1003 bulbs, I come up with strange leds, or single pole bayonet….mine is double pole bayonet…
I’m confused. Am I missing something here? When the gentleman at the parts store showed me the supposed led replacement, I doubted that bulb even existed in 1976…maybe it did, but I don’t have any bulbs like that anywhere in my 76 or 79 trucks…
Why can’t I find a suitable replacement bulb?
Thanks for all your help in the past….and future help.

You need a 211bulb. ( wrong) when he said double pole bayonet this is what I pictured in my head. Now that I've seen the real picture,I know this is wrong.

I would take it to the auto parts store and say "I need one of these". They should be able to match it up in size, shape and electrical connection.
