1979 250 ci I6 heat studs - information requested - head studs or bolts?

1979 250 ci straight six --- have not been able to locate head bolts, looking for studs as replacement.
Does anyone have any information on vendors/suppliers for new, fresh head bolts or studs for this engine.

Someone asked for pictures. Here ya go....

You do know those head bolts are reusable right?

one head bolt is broken; head bolts re useable? Always was taught to always replace. Open to trying to reuse. I can compare the new against the current for lengthening.

Used to be reusable until approximately mid 80s then they started using torque to yield bolts.

from the site questions:

you are correct these head bolts will not fit your engine , integral intake manifold heads take different bolts and we do not have them at this time

Integral intake (head and intake manifold as one) is what I have, so...close, but no cigar.

I just need a work around on the busted head bolt. If I could replace it with a correctly threaded stud, I could retorque all and get my pickup on the road.

Using new head bolts was to solve the problem of head bolts lengthening under long term use or mighty strong short term abuse. I've done both, this engine has only had the 1st type of stated abuse, so maybe OK to reuse?

Need to find one or a dozen. Chevy salvage yards to be added to the speed dial.

I would just throw a new stud at it and get it running. Can do a whole new set later. Lots of places to get grade 8 studs.

We reused literally 1000s if not hundreds of thousands of head bolts at work 99.99 percent of the time,no issues. Of coarse if they were torque to yield or factory recommended replacement we did.
