My 84 chevrolet silverado k-10 --manual locking hubs-- has a broke transmission. It has a np203 transfer case with it. I was wondering if i could change my th350 out for a 700r4, and what would the complications be if there is any???

I didn’t think they were still using the NP203 in 84…. Should be an aluminum case 208 or maybe a 205.

Need a TV cable for the 700, move the crossmember back just a little, When I swapped to a 208 from a 205 I had to make a spacer to go between the crossmember and TC because the 205 had a tall mount

Also probably need to shorten the rear driveshaft and lengthen the front driveshaft.

Or you could source used drive shafts from a SB with a 700 in it.

Welcome. Your transfer case should be a NP208 except some PO swapped it with a NP203. 205 where optional in 84 afaik.

Here some info on transfer cases, should help identify what you have under your truck:

Easiest would be to find a donor truck that came with a 700r4 and swap all the parts (transmission crossmember, driveshafts, tv cable, shift linkage, shift indicator...)

In general, swapping a 700R4 for a TH350 should be straightforward. However, they are different lengths, so driveshafts must be swapped or modified, you need brackets to fit a TV cable instead of a kickdown cable, crossmember may have to move, etc. You want a good donor vehicle to make it easier.

If you really have the NP203, your drivetrain has already been changed to one from the 70’s.
