I just installed my USA1 dash last week and it turned out fine. I did have to trim a little on the passenger side @ the door/weather stripping area. Now all I need is a color matching glove box.

Its probably something along the lines of an issue I had. It was fine until I left it outside.

@CountKrunk sometimes USA1 comes thru other times not! We'll see I went the cheapest route with door panels from JEGS and the drivers side cracked and it wasn't anything I did but they wouldn't honor the warranty so JEGS is on my banned list for anything now. I'll let everyone know how these USA1 panels fair for looks and installation.

I just recently installed one from USA1 in my 87, and it required a considerable amount of modification to achieve a good fit. I even had to cut up under the slots for the spring clips as they were completely filed with material. I can't say that I am disappointed with the end result, but hindsight tells me I should have just had the original redone. End of the day they should provide some tips / tricks or go-forbid let the buyer know before purchasing...

I need to find 1 spring clip for my dash project. Swear I’m going to tack weld them in place… Flux core wire does nothing perfectly, but sticking crappy tin to crappy tin? Clean it, zap it, paint it, send it…

I believe those clips are actually some type of spring steel. They deserve more credit than you are giving them, lol.
