Anyone running them? If so, do they actually do anything productive, or just add weight and “look cool”?

Back when I was building Danger Rangers, a Bronco 2 trac bar set was basically mandatory, but, completely different mounting system. Hooks to the front hanger and rear axle plates, NOT in place of the hanger/spring interface.
Ralph is a roach, but even with 40 years of WW2 veteran ownership and a 4.3, there was axle hop… At stock ride height…

Not on an axle flip but yes, they work. No more wheel hop. I set mine with a small gap so the ride is the same as if they weren't there

I run them it prevents axle hop and you can pre load one side to force the rear end to steer under torque.

Working on mine as we speak. I'll get pictures up in the next few days for reference. Like xm20k said, helps you steer under power.

Had to trim about 4 inches off the front of the overload leaf. This truck was ordered as a 250 with MM7/MY6 4 speed and 770# rear light duty leaf springs.

Mine says 919# capacity on the camper label. 3+1 1.5” thick pack, factory 10 bolt axle, even with load assist shocks it dropped a good 7-8 inches with the flip kit and shock relocators. Spring and shackle bushings replaced with Energy Suspension red bushings, lots of their proprietery grease. I do need to remove probably 4-500 pounds of parts/tools from the bed though. Going to run 2.5” spindles, trimmed coils, swap the 4.3 for a 350.

Have a set of Z71 rear springs, pondering adding a leaf or two versus staying factory springs and track bars with the flip. If it hopped with a worn out 4.3, it’s going to have bigger control issues with a known 335 rwhp sbc…
