What have you done to your square lately??

Well, yesterday me and the girl got a new car that's suitable for a baby since she's pregnant, a 2010 HHR, nice car, good mileage, no balls, she loves it, so I'm happy. Today I removed the whole front clip, dash pad, and pulled out the motor and tranny so I can tear it down and see what happened...

Try telling that to the people who bring in batteries insisting it's the only possible problem, they usually state that there car is a "make" and is only "x" years old (usually 5 or more) and has never had any starter or alternator or even wiring issues and because it's a "make" everything is...

What have you done to your square lately??

We do a trickle charge and load test our batteries. We have a midtronics handheld tester and a midtronics load tester/charger that we use. Problem is people want there issue to be the battery because a battery under warranty is cheaper and easier to replace than a starter or alternator or even...

What have you done to your square lately??

Honestly the most common issue we have with everstart batteries isn't the batteries themselves. I agree that they aren't great batteries, but typically people bring them in, they test good on all testing systems and don't present any issues whatsoever and we warranty them anyway when the...

What have you done to your square lately??

ok, so I'll need to grab an 87 tank or inline fuel pump. And 350 injectors and ECU. My dad looked at it and said it was a lot worse than even I had thought, I figured I lost compression in 1 or more cylinders as it sounded like a couple cylinders were pushing air and not firing, but he said it's...

What have you done to your square lately??

I killed mine today :( Cruising on the highway doing 55mph sounded good, but coming off the highway it started making a rapid ticking on decel, oil pressure dropped to 0psi when speed dropped below 45mph and then started sounding horrible, like dead cylinders...now I have to borrow my in laws...

What are you using for a fuel pump? Looks like an in-tank unit but for what vehicle?

What have you done to your square lately??

I replaced the upper radiator hose, thermostat (195*), and thermostat housing because the housing was leaking, the hose was swollen and I suspected the thermostat was the reason my temp never gets above 160* unless I'm out of coolant. Well, it still leaks, and the new 195* tstat didn't change...

What have you done to your square lately??

I see my taste is similar to a few peoples. It's a stock wheel from the late 80s early 90s cavalier z24s, I believe 1991 was when they changed the horn button to a rectangle. I just picked one up at the wrecking yard a week or so ago.

What have you done to your square lately??

It happens, I looked through tons of images to figure it out, just thought people should know which vehicles have which wheels so they don't look at the wrong vehicles and waste time. The wheel is much nicer than my original btw, turns a little harder but I don't hit anything if I turn the...

What have you done to your square lately??

No, the lumina wheels are considerably different, the cavalier Z24 wheel is identical, the same wheel was used with a rectangle horn button as well. In order. 1991-1994 lumina, 1991-1994 lumina again, 1994 cavalier z24, 1989 cavalier z24, my wheel.

What have you done to your square lately??

I looked up the lumina wheels and though they are similar they are definitely not the same, as it turns out a quick search through similar cars (beretta and cavalier) came up with this wheel, seems to be from an 1989 cavalier z24, I guess the guy who had that burb liked it too and swapped it on...

Thank you, $10 at the wrench a part in del valle, there were some other grant wheels there but I liked this one. It was installed on a late 80's or early 90's chevy suburban "starcraft high luxe"(I think that's what it's called). It had the install it with it luckily, so Install was pretty easy.
