    You're probably right. I was afraid to go that route cuz I am not a fan of wheel adapters. That seems to be my only option though, so thanks.

    Do you know if a k30 DRW axle will bolt right up? The goal is to make a dually suburban (for looks really) I know it sounds juvenile. I'm not a fabricator, so I need a direct swap.

    Figured it out. My rear yoke nut was loose. Tightened that sucker up, and the sound is gone :)

    THANKS MAN!! I did some experimenting going in/out of 4x4, and found that it was happening more frequently when the hubs attempt to disengage, but never heard a thing while 4hi was engaged. Switched that bad boy over to manual hubs, and the problem went away:)
