I have them in the box but the front end of my c10 is still apart for my ls swap lol and now with winter here it will be a few months more than likely!
awesome thank you!! I googled everything BUT the word gasket lol I see this is for a power glide I assume I’ll need to find one for a th350 or are there the same amount of o ring seals and gaskets?
So admittedly I’m not the most knowledgeable when it comes to th350 rebuilds so my brother in law is doing my th350. He’s no pro but hes built more than I have.
I already had clutches, steels, a shift kit and a thrown together seal kit from stuff I had laying around. Basically the only seals...
Ya I don’t think they’ll stick out that bad. The front will be blacked out like my buddies pickup and they aren’t super gaudy. They aren’t the exact same headlights but very similar
My 84 Scottsdale with the single headlights and marker lights below. My plan is to replace the headlight with a pair of black led h6054 with amber turn signals built into them and try to find either a light bar or other aftermarket light housing to fit in the market housing spot. It will...
Not sure if the trans tune has stop leak in it but it definitely did not sit long enough to swell any seals before it started leaking bad.
I’m hoping it’s not as hot today so I can pressure wash the bottom of the pickup off and get started on taking the trans out so I can see what’s going on
yes the condition of the bottom of the pan is a big factor in what I’ll be doing.
what kind of damage would I be looking for? I guess I should mention that this happened just days after adding seafoam trans tune to it.
So the front seal on my 84 c10’s th350 completely let go and is leaking trans fluid like mad. It started a block away from home when I gunned it and it’s been parked ever since. Now that I’ve got all my ls swap parts together I’ve decided it’s time to tackle the trans, question is should I...
Are you sure it’s not gas leaking from the carb gasket? It looks wet all the way up to the carb.
looks to be a factory manifold and probably not pulled recently so why would it start now? I don’t know just a thought
awesome! I’ve never dealt with a c before so wasn’t sure how much of an issue the tc seal was. Probably just going to order a good “stage 2 or 3” blah blah rebuild kit, do a trans go kit and try to find a 2200 stall converter that will work with lockup.
thanks for the help!
So the th350c in my 84 c10 decided to leave a nice oil slick about 4 blocks to my house. Looks to be leaking from inside the bell housing as it’s leaking from my starter and somewhere on the driver side. Guessing the oring seal for the TC or a front seal? Anyway this is jumpstarting my LS swap...
Seems the Jeep forum I’m on is dead on the wj side.
Recently I picked up a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7l with the full time quadratrac posi 4wd system. The best part is it was FREE! Body is great, no rust at all.. it was driving awesome, started right up, has an exhaust manifold leak but I’ll...
I’m almost certain it’s an orange wire. Yours will be hooked to a plug that has a wire going from the firewall by the passenger side valve cover. It’s the harness for esc but you can get rid of that if you are using a regular hei.
