Firewall Steering Column grommet
CalSgt, followed your lead. Broke it down (2hrs). Cleaned, painted, repacked bearings, and put this lower bearing assembly on instead of old stock. Really don't want to admit how many hours it took. But it pretty much killed one day.- t-smith

That's beautiful. I've seen video of knuckleheads doing the top end. Nobody south of ignition though. Do I have to start disassembly from the top or bottom?- t-smith

Framing off my Grandfather’s 84. How do you get the seal over the shifter link at bottom of the column? Any photo/video of breaking down the lower end of the column?- t-smith
