    I know you checked fuel pressure, but this guy had good fuel pressure at idle and then decided to change the fuel pump anyway and it fixed his problem. He actually thinks it was damage fuel hose in the tank. https://www.gmsquarebody.com/threads/tbi-hesitation-stall-from-stop-solved.42255/

    Sir, I hope you find out what is the issue with your truck as I have a similar problem. But there is one difference, the stalling will just out of the blue stop happening. When it does stop happening, my truck runs great! But when I notice that it seems to lack power, then the stalling occurs...

    That's another angle. Mabey most are just not able to chime in because they got nuffin! I actually don't have much to add myself. I am actually here asking questions! :) But I have proven that 8-9* of timing does make a difference. Adding a TB spacer and pod spacer adds a little. Now, thanks...

    Pretty sure whoever I got the heads from tried to build a race motor with these heads. They are 14102193 if I remember correctly and definitely have beehive or some type of race springs installed. I wonder if they would handle 1.6 rr's if I upgrade my stock pushrods?

    So you are taking my current heads into account? I hope so. I am not sure I will be making a change like that soon. So a 1.5 ratio rocker arms, but rollers. I had to study and build up the courage to do my gears myself. Turned out to be such a fulfilling endeavor. Gave me a sense of pride...

    You know, I rebuilt the TB a couple years ago and don't remember the color of the spring. I have the Vortec fuel pump on my wish list.

    Good food for thought... and action! I failed to mention I also have added a TB spacer and pod spacer. Both worth it to me. Little gains add up.

    I think I am moving in that direction! I blew my 76cc's on a 118* day trip from Cali to AZ (think they was blown when I bought the truck). Stinking thing made it all the way and then hydro-locked in my driveway!! But I was just looking for some used replacements and was not sure about the bottom...

    I did a gear swap. 3.73 to 4.56 on 33" tires (may potentially go to 35's). Yes, more zoom off the line but still slow. Advanced the timing to 9 degrees. Now its moving even better! Way better. Not a race car but I love it now.
