Dad's was deluxe 2-tone & had the upper & lower molding. I have those to put back on it. He wanted the newer plastic junk instead of the metal "racetrack" put on. Here it is in the early 80's.- Strick

He ordered that way. He complained because the hood was supposed to be tan with the side striped & it didn't come that way. I had it painted for him over 20 years ago & had the hood tan for him. What have you done to your square lately??
With all that I already have to do, now I've let my family talk me into the next build. I have all the pieces but they certainly are not in all the right places. Have any of you folks ever done a full-top conversion on a K5 before? Share some info please if you have. -

I pulled the bed from my $100 78 K10. We're using the bed floor & wheel houses on my 76 K10 that I gave to my son. I'm gonna set the cab on the SB K10 chassis that I bought a couple weeks ago. That's another project in itself. The 78 K25 GMC is awesome now that it has power steering too. A fella... -

Well, it's done. Aftermarket p/s bracket, 95 Dakota 2.5 pump, pressure hose from a 76 & brake booster vacuum feed nipple for return. The cobbled mess works! Have Steering -
NP203 question
203 are fickle. I've had some that you can drive with manual hubs unlocked & then some must be locked. My 76 K10 was one that could drive unlocked. My son toasted the TH350 & we swapped the trans & case from a 75 & it will not move without the hubs locked now. It's also a noisy case so we're...- Strick
