    I thank you for the input. Why does the gear ratio matter? The factory gear ratio works fine with a 350 so why would a 454 be different? I did not realize the font was bold when I typed it on my phone. I thought capital letters denoted yelling in text not font. So nice of you to point that out.

     Thank you for the response. I did speak with Blueprint about the headers. They do suggest header manufacturers. Lemons quoted me $2480 for the headers. Sanderson quoted me $990 with a six week lead time. Both quotes are for ceramic coated. I was hoping to find a less pricey set.

    33” tire rim width

    I have a 1987 4x4 short bed with the optional aluminum wheels. I believe they are 7” wide. Will 33 x12 tires be safe to install on these rims? I believe 32x11 will fit for sure but I would like to go bigger. Stock tire size for this truck is 31x10. Thanks in advance!
