    85 stock set up minute emissions. New compressor, new lines, new low pressure switch, no leaks. Compressor is kicking in and out with controls turned to off. Acts like a wiring issue but all stock wires in good condition. Thoughts? Was some emissions piece removed that could be causing this...

    Got the vacuum issue resolved. Have air at vents now although switching to defrost still doesn’t seem to force all the air to those vents. Still having the compressor kick on after all controls are turned to off.

    85 c10 original system converted to 134a. Just had it vacuumed down and charged. New compressor, evaporator etc. blows cold but only out of heater vent. Where to start on the vacuum lines for that? Also, I have noticed even with the controls set to off the compressor will cycle. Is that normal...

    LMC Dash Pad Supplier

    Fit is ok. I have some waves in the top. It sits high near the VIN and sags a little at the center speaker then goes back up toward the right pillar. If I was building a show truck it would not work.

    Well, of course it has taken some money to do this one. The goal was to build it for less than 6k including the price of the truck. I'm going to be closer to $7,500 when its done, but way cheaper than my 71.

    Been working on this 85 for a year now. Started out as a 2500. Swapped body and drivetrain over to a SWB 1500 frame. Just need a vision and it comes together.

    It used to be a 3/4 ton...I swapped the whole thing over to a 1/2 ton SWB frame. Any ideas how best to plug it off?

    85 breather on a 350. When I got the truck this was not hooked up. Not sure where it originally ran and am having no luck with "The Google" ;) I'm sure it is emissions related, but need to figure out how to cap it off or something. Thanks,

    Front body/radiator mounts RELOCATE?

    Yes it will make a difference. I just swapped an 85 long bed body over to a swb 79 frame. I used the 85 core support brackets and found out that I had to redrill the holes for the brackets to get it all to line up.     I verified all ground straps, but don't remember there being one from firewall to frame. I have one from cab to frame but it was located toward rear of cab on right side. Thanks
