For those of you fellow Californians out there, does anyone know anything about the status of Senate Bill 712? Looks like it was introduced this month (again?) and would repeal the previous pre-1976 exemption, Instead, the "bill would fully exempt a collector motor vehicle from the smog check...- rwtennent

Cylinder head work
I've got a set of '97 L-31 Vortec heads (906 casting) that need some love from a machine shop that will be part of my SBC 350 top end upgrade. Verify no cracks, valve job, general clean up and maybe machine down the retainer guides. (port the exhaust?) Can anyone recommend someone in the San...- rwtennent
