    High oil pressure after replacing pump

    I completed the same pan work as you. My new non-high pressure pump runs at those same levels and only in high temps at idle show a lower 45 psi or so. Was my timing cover leaking before the pump replacement? No. Was the higher pressure a result of a now new leak? I don’t know.

    Vacuum found leak. Dye confirmed where. News seals, freon and pressure. Scrumptious driving in 90° days.

    Jawzjeep, Could you post a pic of your truck’s cruise control linkage connection that is under the air filter, attached to the carb’s throttle body linkage? That’s my last piece of the puzzle for my cruise control.

    @Catbox: Do you only run 454’s? If you also run 350’s, do older Camaro’s work well for matching up shorty headers?

    Which vendor makes the most reasonable dash mat cover, (not the pad)? I attempted to wash the previous owner’s farm truck dash mat cover. . Nasty.
