What would you pay for this truck?
I personally would keep looking. 3K is a LOT of $$ for a truck that needs everything, These trucks Squarebodies are increasing in value but, there are some real good deals out there keep looking be patient and good luck. Phipp- Phipp

It's a lot of work for sure. As soon as it's done i'm swapping the 4.3 for a 1999 L-31 Vortec EFI 350 and turbo 400 both are built already. I don't expect to get more than 13 MPG 3.43 gears. The 38 gallon tank should give me about 450-525 miles to a tank. i will use the original fuel door since...- Phipp

Under bed Fuel Tank
Started building a new fuel tank38 gallon to fit between my frame rails under the centerline of the bed. Doing a 350 efi and turbo 400 swap in the very near future. I currently have a 16 gallon tank.Has anyone on here done this? Any Lessons learned advise would be greatly appreciated.thx Phipp- Phipp

86 k10 Long Bed, rear springs, long or short? does it matter?
I recently did a rough country 4" lift on my 1985 K-10 SWB. The rear springs are 49" I opted for the heavy 1/2 ton 52"(3/4 ton} rear springs. I had to move my rear spring perches back 3".
