I'm sure it's an age old question, K 20 ride quality improvements.
When I wuz younger, I had to have extreme stuff, 20-50 oil, heavy duty shocks, fast motorcycles and big chain saws. Now life is better. 5-30 oil, changed my 3/4 t C10 to 1/2 t, added airlift shocks and the best was installing KYB shocks. And I got a smaller chainsaw. It is pretty nice to ride...- pali7

Question about headers
You might want to consider ram horn exhaust manifolds. The reading I have done point to that they are pretty much the same flow as headers without the problems.- pali7

cheap paint job options
A buddy of mine worked at a ski area. During the summer a crew was spraying the lift towers with a plain jane green oil based enamel. He paid them 25 bucks to paint an old jeep CJ5 for him on the mountain. Weeds, bugs and sun. He didn't sand it, just washed it. He took out the seats and taped...- pali7

Changed circuit board, the duel fuel gauge still 1/4 full when full
I changed out my 1982 printed circuit board for my dual tanks. Before the change, it registered empty for empty and 1/4 for full. The gauge did not start moving from 1/4 full until is was actually a 1/4 tank. Exactly the same on both tanks. No difference after changing the printed circuit board...- pali7

Steering Column Swap
I have installed several tilting wheels (67, 74 and 82). Pretty easy for those years to do. Just look for a truck like yours and put it in.- pali7
