I've done my share of body work and rust repair on semis but this is my first square body. My question: do I need to leave the fenders off while replace the rocker panels? I've entertained the idea of bolting the fenders back on but something tells me that may not be the right way of doing it...

Don't think so, both were rusted bad enough that Blaster wouldn't help. Fenders are shot so I cut them out to keep from messing up the cab itself. This is picture of the square hole that this thing fits into and I think it has a sort of a spring attachment to hold it in the square hole.
