lowering a one ton
Can anything be done as far as shackles go? I see a lot of talk on here about lowering with shackles...Maybe its just a half ton thing? If it could be lowered with shackles I'd think that it would sit lower but not effect the load carrying ability? Maybe I'm wrong? ALWAYS open to...- northerngn

What if you did a rear flip and a notch? Wouldn't it be a lot lower but still handle the one ton weight? That's a big ass leaf spring pack I got back there!- northerngn

Is there a way to lower a 1 ton dually but still have it be one ton capable? I'm sure dropped spindles for the front but what on the rear? I plan on towing my race car to that track with a 20 foot open trailer and my golf cart and scooter on the flatbed... I think my r3500 would look more...- northerngn

Ok maybe this will help as far as rear end width goes... I drove through the snow and looked at my tracks. The rear tires seem to lay tread to the inside and outside of the front tire tread... Is this how a normal width rear end tracks(truck that's a dually that came factory with a box/bed) or...- northerngn
