Was more worried about the front rubbing at 9in wide.i know you can run a wide tire out back just done want the front rubbing on turns. Thank you for the info I'll look into the calculator sites- miky2295

I'm looking into wheels in the near future and would like a wider tire on the front also. I'd like to do 20x9 front and rear or possibly 20x10 in the rear- miky2295

Fuel filter vapor lock
I think it's a vapor lock after the pump. So the fuel goes to the return line instead of up to the carb. I put 2 new pumps on it and they both did the same thing- miky2295

The truck had a clear plastic fuel filter I replaced it with a glass one so I can still see the flow. The truck will not restart when it dies and does not have any fuel in the filter. Tried a hose into a gas can and still wouldn't pick up fuel. There hoses I replaced I ran them the same way they...- miky2295

On my 86 c1500 I was having a fuel issue last year. I replaced the fuel pump (mechanical), all the rubber fuel lines, gas tank and sending unit nothing worked. I think they are 1/2 ton springs.2 owners before me used it to tow his race car trailer with it and the lady I bought it off of had someone put different springs in the rear that's how I ended up with the 56in springs jammed into the 52 in location. Forgot about the possibility of air shocks guess I would need shock extender brackets also. Didn't want to do bags at this point. If I was going to bag it I'd of wanted to do a 4 link- miky2295

In the spring it's gonna get another 350 put in. The current one is with out and has low oil pressure after that was planning on a set of 20's so I'd like it to sit level or slight rake forward- miky2295

The truck had 56in springs on it in the 52in hanger location(i moved the hanger to the correct location) and figured it might give me a slightly smoother ride. Might still have use it as an actual truck from time to time. I still have to clean the hitch up and paint it- miky2295
