    Oddball rally center

    I picked 4 15in rally wheels for my c10 but missing one factory? aluminum center cap BUT it’s bolts from behind wheel, any one have one? Or seen this? All the one I see plastic and aluminum bolt from front. Def hard to find! I’d prefer the original aluminum over buying 4 plastic. Thanks!

    I love that you want to keep original in that case maybe repair that one. Everything comes apart( with work) so get a similar unit and swap the arm over I say. If it was assembled it can be disassembled, maybe some rivets.

    Wow thanks. I know I’ve seen a center post on some years but goggle can’t find one picture! My firewall has no holes where this would’ve been. I think these hoods were 73 through 80, like I said I think this hood has been replaced I don’t think it fits my application.I have the two at the sides...

    Wasn’t sure where to post this one , I scored some windshield washer nozzles at the junkyard and putting them on my 74 c10 hood I see this giant hole, was this for a factory under hood light perhaps? Aftermarket hood most likely so maybe a universal hole? Thanks

    Just put in a full carpet in my 74 c10 and wondering how the floor mounted highbeam switch it’s is supposed to be mounted, under the carpet or over the carpet. The utilitarian in me says the truck just had the switch mounted on top of the carpet with the two screws going down through it...

    Coolant temp issues...

    I went thru all this on my 74. First off the factory gauge is not linear, meaning 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 mean nothing. 195 on mine is 1/4 up the gauge. I run a manual gauge as well to prove this. I have a new gauge ,proper sender and all. Even when i was a GM tech thru the 90s they purposely run gauges...

    74 window crank handles?!

    well a combination of cutting off the beveled end and dremmel tool on the handle to make the splines continue all the way down did the trick. Cant believe LMC didn't even have an answer for me. My guess is 73 regulators or earlier?... oh well. Good thing its not a blue ribbon restoration!
