Looks as if we should post other than a "square body truck"... I'm kida a die hard but I have one rig that isn't a square TRUCK... kinda...ish.... I guess there is a truck in there.. part of a k5 blazer under there.- M00SE

700R4 went out while towing. Culprit?
My bet is the lockup was never plugged in or converted. Need a rebuild but like others say... Use all the upgrades and you will get plenty out of the 700. Big cooler! There is a small "breather" tube on top the trans. Run that down away from exhaust to prevent a fire if it ever over heats again.- M00SE

On account of the rain....
The Camaro stays in due to rain so the trucks come out! The kid wanted to do a car show or something today so we are asking if anyone wants to meet up around the Castle Rock - Winlock - Chehalis areas. We will cruse the K5 Blazer and matching camper trailer. I know short notice never works but... -
HELP. 350 abc starter binding.
could the timing have moved? If the timing is out it can cause a massive pressure build in the engine and make it VERY hard to turn over. I would check to see if that distributer is loose at all. If its not loose, I would leave it and move onto maybe a new starter but first jumping the starter...- M00SE

Starts then stalls. Stumped.
If it "pops/spits" (backfires) out the carb then you have a fuel delivery issue. If it backfires out the tail than you have a vacuum or flooding issue. I had this issue and it was a bad gas tank and pick up in the tank. But notice when it starts to die or right when it dies, does it spit out the...- M00SE

305 carb issues
I agree with just about every post from others on this one... except the haters. Nothing but chevy for me but the one 305 I had (just gave it to my 18 year old niece for her 86 blazer) ran kinda like your saying.. I got a 600 cfm Edelbrock and its never ran better.
