Stuck spring and shackle bolts

I just installed a lift on my truck and the front spring pockets for the real leafs were full of dirt. The nut on the bolt was rusted down bad enough a wrench would not fit on it. I just ended up torching the head of the bolt and the nut off and replacing them.

[/IMG] Just got my drive shaft back today. I dropped off the new Vortec heads, cam, lifters, rockers, intake, and gasket kit the other day. The block is done and the new pistons, rings and bearings are in. The block is decked so they are going to measure for pushrod length. They told me...

I would like to have the 205 case. Will it bolt up to the TH350? Are the drive shafts different?

It's a full time 203 case. This is the rear drive shaft slip joint. [/IMG]

I did find a place to build a new driveshaft. http://www.inlandtruck.com/products/drivelines.php They quoted me $350 for a new slip yoke, longer tube and balancing. Does that sound about right? This is the first time I have had to do anything like this.

The rear drive shaft is a one piece shaft. The slip yoke at the front of the shaft is warn out and is way short. I'm still looking around for options on the rear shaft. The front shaft looks ok but I may end up having to do something there also. The kit came with a new steering arm. Not much...

I though the same thing after I got it installed. I'm thinking the original springs were a little soft. This weekend I replaced all the u-joints in the front and rear drive shafts. I had one bad on the front and the centering ball was bad. The rears looked ok but I put them in anyway. I think I...

Picked this up a few weeks ago and started ordering parts. Also building a 355 for it. The 350 that's in it kinda sucks. I went with a 4" full spring lift and 33x12.5R15 Dick Cepek Mud Country tires. [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG]
