Air Conditioning Delete
There seems to be a ton of dust getting in my cab. I know the windows and doors could use new seals, but this is dust that is under the dash and even behind the plastic over the gauges. The truck has A/C but it's disconnected. I am wondering if there is dust getting in through the disconnected...- LocoLocal

Shoot, thanks for the info. Looks like the 6.5s have the same backspace as the 8s. 7” wide has a 3.625 bs, so looks like you’re right. Back to looking at 20 inch wheels I guess… Sorry to hijack the thread @bluex!- LocoLocal

79 C10, dropping 5/7. Looking at 15" rims (I did buy the tubular control arms based on your previous recommendations) - is 4.5" backspacing/0 offset on a 15x8 going to give me wheel clearance issues? As for tires, I am thinking 255/60s all around. ETA: read some more threads and other forums...- LocoLocal

I tore it down to replace a few things in the column and then reassembly was when this breakage occurred. I was just too rough on the 45 year old plastic. I might give it another shot if I get bored, but this digital indicator has peaked my interest. It is fine...for now. We all (should) know...- LocoLocal

Thanks. Delayed engagement is only when cold, otherwise, it is fine. I would bet it is the cloth filter. The previous owner(s) seemed cut a lot of corners on this truck, so I would be surprised if they changed to a better filter. My TH350 doesn't like to get into gear and go when cold. I will check the fluid level when I get home this evening, but I don't know when it was last changed. If it's low and I just wanted to add some, would this be the NAPA equivalent of what you suggest...- LocoLocal
