I have a chance to pick up a set of 3/4 ton axles with 4.10 gears for $300. The rear is a 14 bolt FF and the front i am assuming is a standard 10 bolt because I couldn't find a 44 or 60 stamped on the housing. Just wanting some opinions on if they are worth the money and its worth my time to...
Right now the truck has 31x10.50 but it will have a 12" lift with 38's or 40's soon I hope and mainly be a pavement pounder on Saturday evenings. Maybe hit a few trails... Not really into mud and rocks lol

The carb is an edelbrock 600 performer series and i think it has a bigger jet kit than it came from the factory with but I have no idea what to re-jet it. The axles I'm swapping in when I do my lift and the 38's have 4.10 gears.
The mileage is close because its 1 mile to work from my house so I drove 4 miles a day (coming home for lunch) and had to put in about 4-1/2 gallons per week. It runs great with tons of power, supposed to only have 10k on a rebuilt bottom end and I just put on fresh heads but it does run awfully...
Sorry I should have been more clear lol as of right now the truck has 31x10.50's but I HAVE a set of half wore out 38's to put on once I get time to install my lift and heavy axles. But I'm still only getting 5 mpg with the 3.08 gears and 31 inch tires.... Any idea why my mileage is so bad...
