    I need a little help. So this truck is a 1986 k10. It's got a 1969 327 block with original 305 heads on it. So when I go it shifts 1st to 2nd @15mph like normal but at 25 when it should be going into 3rd it seems to slip but it's not slipping it's just running up high rpms in 2nd. It keeps going...

    Yeah looks like the snap ring did break and the nuts backed off. I managed to find the parts on Denny's driveshaft. Reasonable prices too. Haven't tore into passenger side yet but the driver side rotor appears to be in decent shape.

    So behind the spindle bearing there is a thrust washer. It may be intact or not how do I go about identifying it in the pile of debris and/or finding a part number for a new one?

    where on those lockers would i find a part number? i didnt even find the washer that goes between the 2 spindle nuts. its a frickin mess.

    not sure if the lockers are OE but they are manual warn hubs. i used the timken site to gather info on all the bearings and hubs that can be serviced in the entire truck so that was a great help.

    spindle came off with the rotor after i took the lockers off...spindle nuts were off rolling around with the bearing parts
