    Replaced starter...again. this time put in a brace to go with it. Rumor has it that will help prevent so many busted starters. We'll see. New carrier bearing. Noise and vibration reduced. That's a good thing. Found a leak in the right rear brake hard line. And thought about finding the break...

    I'll throw in a right nut just for good measure. Same thing happened to me. Took me a week of head scratching, finally found it. I won't get fooled like that again lol. Fusible link at the starter WILL kill many of the systems.

    I've had that fusible link at the starter shut down all my power before. If you're under there probing that S terminal anyway, check that link.

    It had a ring cap deal on one end. Unscrewed that, and it pulled right apart. Wasn't really obvious with all the crud on it. Thanks guys I appreciate it. Hopefully this will smooth things out. Now if I can get it stop eating starter noses. It's getting expensive.
