Look at this pic......what is it and what is my truck missing.......

The other bracket is for an identical relay that serves as a kickdown for TH-400 transmission. I have only seen this type of kickdown on computer controlled (TBI) trucks.

    Door panel trim options 91

The door panel itself is the same as the '83 if you want to put your carpet inserts and trim, door straps, and map pockets on them.

Sticky steering wheel and other plastic interior parts?

I read somewhere on the internet that eucalyptus oil would work. I had a perfectly good steering wheel that I put in a box and stored in an old Suburban for about two years. When I took it out it was oozing sticky stuff. Apparently it is the heat and doesn't need the sun. It cleaned up really...

    Car trailer with a problem

I would suggest applying heat with an oxy-acetylene torch to the stretched area of the angle iron tongue letting it cool naturally. The steel, when it cools, will shrink more than it expands. 455 Olds in place of 454 in 76 GMC (frame to engine mounts?)

Yes, they are specific mounts for the olds engine. I have been on the look out for some for a couple of years now with no luck. I will fabricate some if it gets to that point in the project but would rather find the originals.

    Alternator

I always called it a poly v belt. I guess I carried that over from working on industrial engines.

FINALLY installing vortec 350. Mechanical fuel pump?

I have a 96 vortec short block that is factory drilled for a mech pump. The pan is off so I can check to see if the cam has a lobe if this will help you. I will be going to my shop later today and report back when I get back home.

    Wheel paint

This is what I use for ralley wheels: Clean/sandblast then prime with Rustoleum red primer, dry overnight, then the back with semi-gloss black and let that dry. The front gets a covering coat of Rustoleum aluminum and at that point you think you really screwed up but before it completely dries...

    Can't find this part

Earlier beds had them. I often wondered why they stopped. A sheet metal shop should be able to fab these for you.

    How much RTV is needed...

Just pulled the engine on my 454 because someone used globs of RTV on the oil pan gasket and it finally let go. Worms clogged the oil pump screen taking the crank and a piston and metal particles all through the engine.
