    I put a 85 k20 suburban rear end in my 84 half ton and saw the u-joint was different can someone tell me what u-joint I need to fit it now, the half ton u-joint caps are smaller around the k20 one.

    freshening up my 350 (1986)

    I tried the break a ring in half and I couldn't get them clean enough, so I ordered a grove cleaner and scraped them shiny, the ring compressor looks to pull down flush and good, this is the first engine I have ever had this problem with and I have worked on quit a few in my years.

    I ran a ring grove cleaner around them till I saw the piston shine in the grove. and I also put a rring in the cylinder and checked the end clearance on them.

    You could also get a set of vortex heads, port and polish them, an aluminum intake and carb., would do a good job.

    Well here goes, Tore apart my 350 to freshen it up, honed the cylinders, new cam bearings and cam, new rings, main and rod bearings, polished crank shaft and put back in the block with new bearings and turns free, cleaned up pistons and ring groves, put ring on and in stalled 1 in it's cylinder...

    Front Brakes

    I have a hard thought Question on front brakes, OK, I've been wondering if it's possible to change over my front disk brake rotors to separate rotor and wheel hub like on the front of a 2 wheel drive truck or a car, where you can change the rotor without having to change the whole thing.

    Air conditioning

    Have you checked any of the pressure switches, I have other issues on my 86 GMC ,1500, 4x4, we put a serpentine set up on mine off a 98 chevy and i'm trying to find hoses and the stuff to hook my 86 reciever dryer to the 98 compressor, have any of you all done that.
