    Appreciate the advice though. I couldn't understand how it had power to the unit but no power out and the fuse still be good.

    The fuse is good. The plugin was not im all the way. I pressed in in really hard and the audio started working again.

    This is an 86 truck. Ive had a jvc aftermarket radio in it for 8 years. This truck was already chopped for an aftermarket from the previous owner but i wired it in using both the truck diagrams and the jvc diagram and all the speakers worked until recently. Any help would be appreciated.

    The carb had a vacuum leak. I rebuilt it, adjusted it and the the timing and now its running solid. Appreciate it

    I found the culprit. A vacuum leak in the carb. I rebuilt it and solved the issue. Its got a 290 hp GM crate in it. It always ran great before the esc went out, before as in a daily for 6 years, but since i bypassed it, adjusted the timing and rebuilt the carb its back to normal.

    The plugs are correct gap. I saw your reply and pulled every one to check gap. They're at 35.

    It was a shorted wire. I noticed on of the screws arced and the horn sounded when i went to inspect the contact.
