    Went with 275/60/15 Cooper Cobra Radial GT all around. Still at stock height and no rubbing. We’ll see when I do a 2.5” drop spindle in the front and 4 inch drop shackle in the rear. Wheels are Cragar D windows 15x8 with 4” backspacing.

    Are those 15" wheels? If so, do you/did you have any issues with the lower control arms in the front rubbing on the inner lip of the front wheels? I've heard 15" wheels with 2.5" drop spindles can cause rubbing and clearance issues.

    All the drop spindles I've found for our trucks (I've got a 78 short bed) are 2.5" or 3" drop. I want to go with 15x8 wheels with 275/60/15 tires on all 4 corners, but have been reading that going with 2.5" drop spindles will cause issues with the lower control arm rubbing on the inner rim lip...

    That’s what I found in my searching too. I came across a post somewhere where the guy remove some material off the lower control arm where it was rubbing and said that it must have weakened the control arm because it broke one day while he was driving the car. I definitely don’t want to risk...
