steering column clarification
I replaced the steering wheel (16”?) with a GM stock wheel from a ‘94 sedan (14.5”) Looks great and gives me more room. I’ve read that some people get a bit more room by adding spacers under the front seat attachment. Otherwise try Flaming River, Ididit, or Speedway Motors for a new column...- harcorshe

Securing the Cargo Lamp
Did you get this figured out? The rubber-encased threaded inserts do expand and provide a good connection. Might have them in backwards. (I went through the same thing last year)- harcorshe

new fuel hard lines help
Sorry to resurrect such an old thread, but I'm looking for any advice on installing a Boyd fuel tank. I'm going to be keeping my carb (for now) so the plumbing should be straightforward. But what about mounting it to the frame? I have a (converted) short bed. Also, how did you handle the filler...- harcorshe

77-80 factory bucket seats foam question
Doing the same thing. Got the foam from Classic Industries. May have needed to search under K5 Blazer low back seats. They’re the same. Also replaced the zig-zag springs. Again searching under Blazer low back will give you more options for upholstery kits too. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

lets talk 14 bolts....
Three points from my recent rebuild of a 14 bolt: 1. Truetrac is nice. It doesn’t require air or electricity or cables.
