Lseats in Texas. They offer Leather for the bench seat for less than $400 in multiple colors. You will have to remove the orig cover and hog ring this one in. So far so good. Cant beat the leather.
Planet California...what a PITA. Surprised they dont make you put a mask on the engine. Sorry you have to deal with all that BS just to put an engine in a truck. We do what we want out here...Good luck.
I have an 86 K10 with original 305. Engine is in original configuration minus the smog pump and I installed headers. Question is.... is anything to be gained by removing any of the hard plastic lines that snake around the top of the engine. We do not have smog checks here. It's all in perfect...
just buy one from National Carburetors in Jacksonville, FL. Inexpensive, bulletproof, and If you have a problem just call and they are great at helping out. I got a O.E. replacement from them for my 86' and it starts faster than my new vehicles and pulls like its fuel injected.
Ok thanks. I'll check the carb. I used to be able to rebuild one blindfolded...20+ yrs ago..sucks getting older. Other than my starting problem she runs perfectly. Will start building a 400 after first of the year and put the 305 on the shelf.
Thanks for the input..sucking some air is my guess since I have to crank on it more than 7 seconds , I would call that excessive, for it to hit after sitting a long while. . I currently have a broken ankle so it will be a bit before i can check the lines.
86 K10 305. If my truck sits overnight or more than say 5hrs, I have to crank on it and pump the gas to start. If it only sits an hour or two it cranks as soon as i hit the key. Carb is new as well at the fuel pump and i broke into the fuel line between the bed and cab to put a filter. The...
