    I put 3:73 front an rear on my 86 K10. Major difference. Completely different truck for the better and I still cruise at 75 ish on the highway and can easily pull one of my 2600lb trailers.

    Lseats in Texas. They offer Leather for the bench seat for less than $400 in multiple colors. You will have to remove the orig cover and hog ring this one in. So far so good. Cant beat the leather.

    I use a shop vac to suck out the antifreeze. Gets it all.

    I use E3 plugs in my 86' 305 with zero issues and runs perfectly.

    Send it to National Carburetors in Jacksonville FL. They do a perfect job. My 86'quad is like driving fuel injection now.

    Planet California...what a PITA. Surprised they dont make you put a mask on the engine. Sorry you have to deal with all that BS just to put an engine in a truck. We do what we want out here...Good luck.

    I have an 86 K10 with original 305. Engine is in original configuration minus the smog pump and I installed headers. Question is.... is anything to be gained by removing any of the hard plastic lines that snake around the top of the engine. We do not have smog checks here. It's all in perfect...

    I have 33x12.50.15 on 15x11 wheels with no lift on a 1986 K10. Plenty of room.

    Brand new quadrajet untunable!

    just buy one from National Carburetors in Jacksonville, FL. Inexpensive, bulletproof, and If you have a problem just call and they are great at helping out. I got a O.E. replacement from them for my 86' and it starts faster than my new vehicles and pulls like its fuel injected.
