    Remote Start

Curtchfield is a good idea. Summit has a solution for remote start. Remote start and alarm seem to be separate solutions.

Did you wire it in series or did you place it across the line and load?

    Remote Start

I'm considering adding a remote start module to the 89 burban. I'd prefer it to be a packaged solution to include an entry alarm. I don't see any posts yet so if you have input that could be helpful. There are several manufacturers available, although for this early year model I think I have to...

    Ignition Coil wiring

    Ignition Coil wiring

Hey, all. 89 V1500 Suburban w 350tbi. I am slowly putting it back together and it cranks but won't start with both fuel and spark. I'm suspicious of this coil wiring. The white to red splice you see is to the fuel pump relay, N.O. contact. My wiring diagrams are for OBS trucks and that shows...

Good info. I think this dist does not have that terminal. But then again, I don't have a tach. I'll look for that gauge tmp sensor, but I believe I replaced one on the passenger side between 6 and 8'ish.

Help me determine location for these wires

I bought this suburban and the engine was torn down to the block. The parts, brackets and bolts were in a box with no labels. I'm finding that critical wiring is missing also. I'm using factory manuals but they're for 1988 trucks and up. Mine is an 89 V15 burban so I think I need the service...

1989 v1500 burban steering pump bracket

I'm restoring an 89 Suburban 4x Silverado. The top end with all fasteners, brackets, components, rockers, etc arrived in one big box. Nothing labeled. Both the alt and the pump are on left side, using a single serpentine driven by the crank. I'm working on putting the alternator and power...
