    Finally got an hour to spend on my truck. Got the front wheels off, and started replacing the ball joints, drag link and tie rod ends. Didn’t realize how wore out they actually were. Should handle like a new one when I’m done

    Bought this service truck for the farm, it will be nice to have a dedicated truck for in field repairs this fall. 81,000 miles, C3500 with the 6.5 diesel.

    Kinda confused, need some assistance

    I want to replace the tie-rod shaft, ends and steering shaft drag link ends. Looking on the Rock Auto site, there is a few different options. Mine has the 7/8” hollow tube, I’d like to replace it with the 1” but not sure which one I need. My only concern is I want it made in US or Canada...

    Custom exhaust size?

    Needing to redo the exhaust on 6.2, guy in neighboring town bends custom exhausts. Just curious y’all’s opinions on what size to go with? I believe it is 2 1/4” now. My old 78 K10 with a 350 had a nice sound with 3” and Red glass packs. Is that overkill for the noise police anymore? I did that...

    That’s the issue, I can only account for 3 rollers. I think the rest are buried with Jimmy Hoffa

    Steering column bearing help!

    Got my column torn down tonight, and I got a problem. The upper ball bearing is bad as the rollers are falling out. Rock Auto stocks the bearing for non-tilt columns, but I can’t find the one for a tilt column. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks fellas!

    Having a senior moment

    Replacing the wiper/washer switch, but I’ll be damned if I can remember if it had intermittent wipers or just lo hi and mist. It has a chrome handle, but the letters have been worn off for years. It is a Scottsdale, tilt column but I cruise if that helps. Thanks fellas!

    Pulled steering column this afternoon. Going to replace lock cylinder and all the switches. While I’m at it I’m going to say dos vadanya to the steering shaft and rag joint and replace with one for a Jeep from Rock Auto.
