    6.2 mpg

    i have a 6.2 non turbo with 4:10 rear end and when i went lion hunting i kept it at bout 55-60 mph and was at least getting 20 mpg.

    we had a guy look at what he thought it was and he drained some oil out of the transfer case and there were some metal shavings in it, so now we are looking for a new one to get. thanks for all the feed back.

    so, my dad went and got a 1984 f-350 with the 6.9, and when you are going down the road there is this strange god awful growl that starts up and when it starts you wanna get out of the truck, it don't matter if you're doing 15mph, or 60mph it is very loud an violent. you can feel a vibration...

    i think that I'm going to keep the 16" rims and try to fit some good all terrain 32'' or 33" tires. that's if it don't brake the bank.

    hey ya'll, i'm getting a 2,5 lift for my truck and i don't know what size tires i should get for it, right now i'm on 16'' rims what size should I upgrade to? 20" rims maybe???? :shrug:

    alright i got something really strange that happened. i crawled under again and found the wires cause the lights started to come back on so i just cut them, you'd think that the lights would just be off for good right? wrong! now they work when i put it in reverse. i don't know how, but i think...

    yes i did, i rolled under and found the wires and had a buddy of mine look at it with me, we moved away some mud, unplugged them then plugged it back in now they work when i want them to.

    wondering if i could get some help here. its an 1984 gmc k1500 high sierra and the reverse lights are stuck on. i can not find my owners manual to pull a fuse and i can't find a online version. does anyone know where the switch is so that i can look and see if its stuck? :shrug: help need fast.

    my motor is in really great condition it only has 97k miles on it, and everything on it is in good condition. Do you think if i just ran a basic hookup into the air intake i would get more mileage outta my fuel, and maybe some more hp? cause it would burn hotter and burn the fuel better don't...

    hey ya'll i'm thinking about putting a propane system in my 1984 gmc with the 6.2 in it. I have read in some other forums that the propane really doesn't work unless you have a turbo. Is there anyone that is doing this or that knows anyone that is doing this that can help me out?
