Hey guys. I figured Id start reassembling my 6.2L after tearing it down to the long block and swapping out a piston. VERY first thing I do is, of course, torque down the cap on the new rod. I then decide Id better try turning the motor over to make sure its ok. Its locked up tight. So I pull off...
Well I thought I sold my square awhile back... Now the guy doesn't have the money. Cant blame him though. His uncle (nearest and dearest relative to him. Basically his dad) died. Hes saving up to buy his house.
Anyone need a '87? Lol
Gotta love the square burbs! Theres one 2 blocks from me right now sitting in the weeds. Gotta have an 8"+ lift on it and some big mud eatin tires on it. Its nice!
I think I mighta sold my square today. Tough times call for tough decisions...
When I bought it, my moms BF was flabberghasted at the price I got it for. He said several times he woulda done that deal too. So I asked him this morning if he would want to buy it. He said heck yea! But he will...
Ok here we go. I believe the block # is:
3999289
With other numbers:
C22-78
And the heads:
3933148
With other numbers:
2254
CM4T
M Truck
The heads look like square bore on the intake and oval on the exhaust lol
Iv owned this block for approx. 5 years so its not straight out of the machine shop fresh, but it hasn't been assembled/ran since machining. Ill run out to the garage and get all the numbers and such and let ya know
