    I was just trying to make sure I wasn’t just sinking a ton of money into a paperweight if it wasn’t going to be compatible. I will continue to look for tutorials, and yes it’s going in a k10. Gears will match.

    Well I’m sorry for the headache but I’m glad I wasn’t going crazy trying to figure this out. It came with 4.10 gears maybe that will help narrow it down. With a splayed frame and the 4.10 it appears to be 4x2. I’m very thankful for the help, I couldn’t find anything being new to axle swapping...

    I couldn’t find any information in the “bible” other than the hubs are interchangeable and the housings are basically the same.. but no measurements for flanges, etc. Example: my 12 bolt truck has 58” flange to flange Wms of roughly 66” This 14 bolt is 54” flange to flange Wms of 67” I do...

    okay I didn't know that, but I will keep that in mind. I'm still not sure if this is a c&c axle or a srw. I know the hubs are srw. Did a little clean up to see if there were any other identification #s anywhere but I didn't find anything.
