1985 K20 Temp sending unit location?
I suppose these headers could be modified to fit like everything else aftermarket that does not quite fit. But to me a T-stat is a maintenance item it's going to be changed every so often whether its needed or not and certainly at the first sign of sustained overheating...- Deep Creek Square

1985 K20 Temp sending unit location?
That was a ported vacuum switch that has rotted off. The factory location is in the LH cyl head, but if exhaust headers are present it's probably been deleted because it's typically in the way. No reason you cant unthread the vacuum switch and put a sender there. Dorman makes a replacement...- Deep Creek Square
