That is correct, Hanger in the front / shackles in the rear. Send some pics when your finished. I’m curious how much lower the rear will look compared to your first pic.- DBeck350

Couple plus sides to all this, 1) The ass end will be lower then the pic you posted so that will be cool. 2) You live and you learn from your mistakes. Trust me, If I had a dollar for all the **** I’ve put on backwards or upside down I’d have enough money to drive a different square every day...- DBeck350

Who's worked with lead vs bondo?
Ahhh the 80s, big hair, Trans Am’s & Lead. A good friend did a quarter panel / roof section on an old Camaro back in 84 with lead. Small torch, flat iron, and sticks of lead and a lot of patience. Tailgate band for 1987 Silverado V10
I just removed the tailgate band from my 87 so if you need measurements of hole locations or a pic. I can offer that much. -
Joys of the 10 bolt
I actually used this a couple months ago and it works perfectly. It’s good to have in the tool box if you own a 10 bolt. Worth every penny.- DBeck350

Fuel Tank Size
Yes your correct. If I had a little more time I would have done exactly that. It’s my daily so it had to be a quick transition. Possibly in the near future I’ll go for the 20s again since I have a 45 minute ride to work the extra 8 gallons would be a bonus.- DBeck350

Fuel Tank Size
Guess I’m a minority as well. I have an 87 fleetside, longbed with two 16 gallon tanks and a switch for the cargo light on the driver side, purchased two 20 gallon tanks awhile back, (assuming that’s what was under the truck) well needless to say I had to return them do to the fuel door on...- DBeck350
