Damaged wires on firewall about 2 inches from fuse box
Most fuse panels are servicable. Considering that squares run blade fuses I would imagine a small pick tool can undo the little clip that keeps the female spades in the fuse box and receive the fuse. Once the spade is out you can order new connectors, some wire, and get to repairing the panel...- Crispy

Yea i dont blame ya. I've adjusted my range down so if i'm sitting on one for a while its not a killer. I just recently was able to off a 2015 Wrangler Sahara, thankfully. Its tough finding the right buyer for a salvage vehicle when your talking almost 20k- Crispy

I think 96+ "Vortec" engines have no mechanical fuel pump provision, you also have to contend with the different intake mounting angle if you keep the vortec heads. Its all been done and isnt much to overcome.- Crispy

Amber turn signals were used in all GMT800 Sierras and i believe 99-02 Silverados. They should be the same shape, I cant imagine GM using different beds for those trucks.
