    Yea I have a donor truck. Putting 52" springs up front also. I was just curious as to how much height difference was between the 2 stock. Thanks for the help.

    Yes bowtiejockey thats exactly what I'm asking. The kit I'm looking at is from off-road design. I will be using the king pin style. 77-79 dana 60. Both kits they make are for putting that axle in. It will end up being a 4" lift. If I read things correctly, by putting stock 1/2 ton rear...

    I'm going to be doing a 2wd to 4wd swap on my crew cab. I'm going to be putting the Ford Dana 60 with stock rear Chevy 1/2 springs in the front. My question is can I get the regular crossover steering or do i have to get the high crossover steering. Thanks for all your help.

    I can get an awesome deal on a Ford Dana 60. I know I need a drivers side drop t-case. Just wondering what's involved with the instal part of it. Will a Chevy Dana 60 cross over steer work for this? Going in a 1986 k30

    1986 c30 3+3 454. Definitely a project truck. Can't wait to start playing with it. Thanks in advance on all the info and help in the future. Hoping by next winter it will be a 4wd.
