well we were thinking maybe it has something to do with losing compression losing cylinders because it revs super high at 40 now i checked fuel and its getting fuel going to pull plugs tonight and check to make sure theres no oil on them and that im getting compression hoping i didnt slip a...- crazyman1018

i have a 1983 k10 chevrolet with a 305 and a 700r4 trans now i went driving down the road the other day and it wouldnt get past 45 mph just dead stopped the speedometer so i went to get off the highway and it cut off on the off ramp so i started it back up went 2 minutes down the road and it cut...- crazyman1018

Carburetor Problem
its a rochester quadrajet not sure of the numbers and such would have to take pics and upload them what i mean was that the guy had rigged up a manual choke system when im told that most of the time they are automatic and im not sure on how the assembly is suppose to go i rebuilt most of it- crazyman1018
