inside the transmission is the speedometer gear drive. it is a plastic pieces with teeth. different transmissions call for different number of teeth. it is pretty simple to remove. check it. mine was a mechanic shop and while there it disappeared??????? I am just having trouble finding the...
I replaced my tank and the filler hose has 90 degree "kink" in it. (1978 C10 long bed stepside) Gas comes right back out. But, I bought a 1977 K10 from my uncle to pull parts. it doesn't have a bed. Would you like pictures of that set-up? It is unmolested.
The speedometer gear drive was stolen out of my truck. I am having the hardest time figuring out the number of teeth I need. It is a 1978 Chevy C10, straight 6, three on the tree and has GM 46, 463011 stamped on the transmission. any suggestions, or help???
