Decided to come along and update this since I have found the issue. The secondaries had been over-torqued and was binding on the carburetor. Check your secondaries by physically pushing down on them and making sure they move and rebound without sloppyness but also not getting stuck. For me...- blarpo

Loud crack from accelerator pedal.. no power, kicks back in?
As the title says, my 1985 C10 has a problem where the pedal will make a loud click, (i can physically feel it) the acceleration stops, and then suddenly kicks back on. What could this be?? I think it may be a linkage issue, but I'm not 100% sure.- blarpo

Hi! I'm taking my C10 home tonight.
I'd like to update this thread to say that I've finally put in a new dashpad, and a bezel! But later that night I attempted to fix a coolant leak on the release valve. May or may not of turned it the other way in both naivety, and foolishness. Thank god I have 2 vehicles, lol.- blarpo
