    2002 RAV4 massive oil leak

Just another picture I found of the location of the leak.

    2002 RAV4 massive oil leak

Well, that’s a start. I’m hesitant to start taking it apart, right now I can still crank and move it out of the way if I need to. Once I start taking stuff off, moving it around gets a whole lot harder. If I can’t fix it cheaply and relatively easily, then I’ll probably just park it and save...

    2002 RAV4 massive oil leak

    I guess I should mention, it’s the 2 liter 4 cylinder, automatic.

    2002 RAV4 massive oil leak

Hopefully someone here has some insight. Back in January, my Rav radiator sprung a leak. It got parked until a couple weeks ago, because I have my truck and I drive my patrol car daily. So I finally got around to putting a radiator in, and that went smoothly. I pulled it up to the driveway and...

4x4 with 31x10.5/15 tire. Anyone running this size tire on stock lift??

Here ya go. 78 k10, factory ride height and 31 10.50 on 8 inch wheels. I love it. The 235’s look too small to me.

    Headlights quit working

I second this. Was cruising home one night, pitch black country road, and hit the dimmer because of an oncoming car and bam, no lights. Stomped the switch a couple times until I got high beams back and then drove home. I would definitely check the dimmer switch first.

I finally realized why I like working on my '81 C10 so much

Well, having ac present, and having ac WORKING is two different things lol. It was in there but it was just taking up space because it didn’t work. So there’s that.

I finally realized why I like working on my '81 C10 so much

Well, the Silverado trims are much more comfortable I’m sure. But a strip down custom deluxe with no ac and no insulation or sound deadening makes for a loud, moist ride. And vinyl seats make you sweat no matter what season it is lol. That being said, I do like the simplicity of my square...

I finally realized why I like working on my '81 C10 so much

100% true. I love my square, but I’ll say this. How many of you have taken a road trip in one? I drove mine about 7 hours round trip a few years ago to pick up my wheels that I have now. Had to take it because it was the only truck I had. They are not pleasant to ride in on the interstate for...

May have found my Titan replacement

You’re right. But I have a soft spot for old beat down trucks and atvs. I look at them and see what it was when it was new and I want to make it new again. I know it makes zero financial sense, but it’s just how I’m wired. But usually I’m overly optimistic and end up disappointed when reality...

May have found my Titan replacement

I think this truck may be a loss. According to my dad, it was totally submerged. That’s bad news. If it runs, it’ll probably end up being a woods truck ant best. And I’m probably better off putting that time and energy into my square.

May have found my Titan replacement

Can ya’ll help me put together a checklist for reviving a sunken truck? First step in my mind is pull the spark plugs and turn the engine over to get any water out. Then I guess I would move on to distributor cap, make sure everything is dry and not corroded. If it is, replace. Then, where do we...

    Outlaws and BFG’s

Ok, I may try to use them. They do have some dry cracking, but they have almost new tread. I hate to see them go to waste, I love these tires. I don’t like the KO2 that replaced these.

May have found my Titan replacement

Time will tel Time will tell I guess. My dad brought that up too, he’s concerned about stuff that maybe shorted out. Idk, we’re gonna take a crack at it. If nothing else, he daily’s a 97 Cheyenne identical to this one and can use it for parts for his truck.

    Outlaws and BFG’s

A quick google search says these wheels weigh about 18.5 pounds each. I’ll see what I can put together on shipping. So, this picture below is my truck on 31x10.50’s. Do y’all think I could clear these 32x11.50’s on the white wheels?
