I have a Holley 600 cfm that was rebuilt at a carb shop. The carb is dialed in and adjusted from the carb shop and the choke was pulled off the carb, was told I didnt need it here in this weather.

    305 Swap To ???

I was in the same boat, for my 84, it had a 305 that was dead. Got a 350 SB TBI from a 87 and made it a 383. I was 50/50 on the LS swap, wanted to keep it old school.

    Temp sensor disconnected

On my 305, the sensor is located on the driver side, between the two spark plugs. Green wire is the temp wire. On the 383 Im building, a 87 TBI 350 block, it is located in the same area. But I also seen some on the intake manifold by the themo stat.
