This is a really old post I'm resurrecting, but I'm trying to sell the factory (but incorrect) wheels shown in the original pic at the top of this thread and I don't seem to have access to the "for sale" section of this forum. I was able to source a nice set of OEM Rally's a couple years... -
Choke closing too soon?
Thanks. How sensitive is the adjustment on that scale? If I'm nearly at the center now, would you suggest moving clockwise in whole-mark increments or less than that? I realize this shouldn't be rocket science or anything.- ASEmaster

Choke closing too soon?
I have an '86 C10 with (as far as I know) the original Q-Jet carb that has the electric assisted choke mechanism. The engine starts and warms up find from a cold condition. Hot starting is usually pretty easy too, as long as it hasn't been turned off for very long (less than 20 minutes)...- ASEmaster

New C10 guy here
Thanks, they're not terrible... The spinner center caps are really not to my taste, however. The backplates for them have the lug nuts jammed up too. It'll take a bigger impact than I've got to get them off, and I'm afraid to see what all the nuts and studs may look like when it's all apart.- ASEmaster
